Priorclave Custom Applications

Where a requirement is outside of our standard range Priorclave has the flexibility, capacity
and expertise to manufacture autoclaves to match customer's particular specifications. Typical
examples are as follows: |
Pass Through Autoclaves
 |
One of the most common requirements is for pass through autoclaves for installation into clean
room or containment laboratories. Following a site survey by one of our technicians the autoclave
is individually tailored to suit its proposed installation position in the room in relation to
drainage, position of available services etc. The autoclave, once installed acts as a channel
between the containment laboratory or clean room and the outside. Items are loaded into the
autoclave on one side and special door interlocks only allow them to be unloaded on the other side
once a sterilising cycle has been completed. Other interlocks ensure that both ends of the
autoclave can not normally be open at the same time to ensure full containment.
|
Opposite hand opening
 |
On some occasions it is not convenient to have the autoclave door hinged on the right hand
side as is usually the case with Priorclaves. Perhaps in the chosen location the door would
interfere with other equipment or a doorway when open. If Priorclave are informed at the time of
ordering the doors on Front Loading and RSC Priorclaves can easily be made to hinge on the left
hand side at no additional cost. |
Loading Systems
 |
Using Priorclave's universal Loading Cassette and Trolley System all types of loads can be
accommodated, often using the same loading cassette. The Loading cassette's flexible design allows
it to be fitted with a number of shelves in easily variable positions, or to remove shelves to fit
in large flasks or reactor vessels.
Where required height adjustable trolleys can be
supplied for use with the Loading Cassette.

Non-Sterilisation Applications

Many other systems use hot water or steam. The experience of our designers and versatility of
our TACTROL control system have enabled us to devise solutions in many areas making processes more
effective. Some examples are as follows:
|
Food Processing Simultaneous
cooking and shrink-wrapping vegetables
Plastics Re-hydration of moulded nylon components
Accelerated curing
Construction Testing conditions for curing roof tiles |
