So the autoclave's bigger than the lift and the lift doesn't go to the floor that the lab is on. What do you do? You ask Priorclave and our transport contractor, Relay Technical Transport Ltd to sort it out. At least that's what the School of Pharmacy in Brunswick Square, London did. On the 29th March 2008 we arrived at 8.00am to find that the crane was set up with the partial road closure of Hunter Street in operation. The Priorclaves were carefully slung from the crane, lifted to the roof of the 6th Floor. From there they were puished into the building and down a ramp into the laboratory. Relay and Priorclave staff were off site by 9.30am and home in plenty of time to watch Oxford win the Boat Race. |
